Preston Miller began his commercial real estate career in 2008 after earning a degree in economics with a minor in business from the University of Utah, later enhancing his expertise with a master’s degree in real estate development in 2013. Prior to joining Mountain West Commercial in 2020, he gained diverse experience working with both global and boutique firms, including CBRE, Cushman Wakefield, and Pentad Retail/Hospitality, building a strong foundation that distinguishes him in the industry. A recognized leader, Preston founded the 2nd Generation council within Chainlinks in 2013, has served on the NextGen ICSC committee, and has trained new brokers, while forming a successful partnership with Spencer Greer in 2018 that accelerated both of their careers. Today, he specializes in tenant representation, investment, and ground-up development brokerage. Fluent in Spanish from two years of volunteer service in Mexico, Preston connects with a broad client base and brings a competitive spirit shaped by his athletic background, including winning the 2007 Sevens National Championship in collegiate rugby. He and his wife, a BYU alumna, have three young children, and he enjoys family time at Lake Powell and coaching his sons’ sports teams.
